Restored Windows 10 environment not stable

I restored a Windows 10 image to a computer identical in specs and model to the original and was able to boot and login to Win10 ok but many items on the taskbar would not work … such as the Windows menu and Search box.

I reinstalled Boot Camp drivers to no avail.

I did not use sysprep. In the past when with same model computers, sysprep was unnecessary and added several steps to the process. Is it now necessary even with same-model computers?

Has anyone had this experience and found a solution or procedures that make the end result more stable?

Make sure you are on the latest version of Winclone and that the image was created on that version. There was issues similar to this in early releases on Winclone 6.
