I’m trying to add an Oracle Virtual Machine to Boot Runner. I believe I have everything correctly set up. It shows up in my Boot Runner Menu properly.
My Virtual Hard drive File is located on a usb external drive.
But I did install the Program to my Application Folder like normal.
Is this possible to do and what am I doing wrong.
This is my Run Command
open -F “/Users/Vargas/VirtualBox VMs/Mac Win 7/Mac Win 7.vbox”
The path to the virtual hard drive is
/Volumes/Seagate Expansion Drive/Virtual Machine/Win 7 64bit
And the file name is Win 7 64bit II.vdi
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
If you log out and select it via the main Boot Runner screen, does it work correctly?
I’ve already tried that and it doesn’t work.
Sorry I just realized I didn’t mention that the virtual hard drive is located not just on an external 3.0 hard drive but I’m using Paragon Software to read write NTFS from the drive.
So most likely the Paragon software isn’t loading in time for the virtual machine to start working.
If someone could verify if this is what’s happening please.
If it is something I can fix I would really appreciate it.
Thank you
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought it was on a physical disk. So does it fail to launch at login? Or does it launch and then give an error message? You can see what is happening by looking at the system log. I usually turn on faster user switching, log in to a local user, then launch Console. Leave that running, then switch to the login window and log in as the VM user. Then go back to the first user and check the console.
