After Windows boots screen goes black

Hi. On a 2014 iMac I followed the instructions and migrated Bootcamp to a thunderbolt 2 transcend ssd . When I tried to boot the windows logo appears then the screen goes black. If I click I can see the mouse cursor with a spinning sign but nothing happens. I tried the suggestions given in the faq, but they didn’t work for me. Any suggestions? I really need to use Windows for work. Please help. Thanks in advance.

External booting doesn’t always work. It is dependent on the drivers, version of Windows, and the drive/interface. I would recommend running sysprep prior to migrating (but make a Winclone image prior to running sysprep just in case). This document covers it:
