Before I purchase Winclone please confirm it will do what I want

Hi there,

I have a MacBook Air mid 2011 running High Sierra 10.13.6 ( for which I realise I need Winclone 7 ) and Windows 10. To clear up several things I would like to do a factory reset and then restore all the MacOS data and software. If beforehand I use Winclone to create a Windows image can I then use that image to restore the Windows partition or, having done a factory reset, will I have to re-create the Bootcamp partition and re-install Windows ?

Thanks in advance for your help

The former. You use Disk Utility to create a new partition (in Windows format) and then restore the Winclone image to it.
