Read good reviews on your software. Paid for and installed the software.
Ran it to create an image file. A 30GB BOOTCAMP partition was imaged in less the one second to a 600BYTE file. Obviously not correct. Ran it again. It jumped to 5% and stayed there for an hour. The notice on the screen was “Preparing to Save Image.”
It stays there for an hour. I quit the program, rebooted and attempted to use the software again. Same result; numerous 600byte files or hangs up at 5% forever.
I glanced at the forums and found at least one person with a similar problem but there was no solution published. What is the point of the forum if the solutions are not posted?
MacBook Air (MacBookAir6,2), OS 10.13.6. I am saving the image to an external Mac formatted USB drive. (Or attempting to.)
I would love to like to software but so far IT DON’T WORK.
