Hello. i’m having an issue with winclone. I had an external drive that I ran through bootcamp and I’m having problems booting it on my mac. I was told to buy winclone and make the drive boot in legacy mode but every time I try to boot in legacy mode I get “Change Bootable Error” & “Updating MBR Error.” I’v triEd disabling SIP and I’m still getting the same thing. It seems like nothing is working. Can I get a refund?
You need to run sysprep prior backing up or cloning, when you target a new system or drive.
If your original system is missing, you can run one of the virtualizing software like Parallels, VMware, or VirtualBox on the clone on your drive and run it through the latter.
