Change Bootable Error

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I am currently having problems with changing from EFI Bootable to Legacy Bootable. When performing the change, I keep getting an error message that reads, “Change Bootable Error - There was an error changing the file system type.” I am doing this on a Mac Mini (Late 2012) machine that has both MacOS Sierra (v10.12.6) partition and Windows 10 Pro (NTFS) partition. I am running Winclone Pro v5.7.6 (5893). The steps I took so far was to run a check disk scan on the Windows partition and that showed no errors. I even ran a sfc /scannow and that showed no errors. Any idea has to why the error keeps occurring when trying to change the file system type? Please let me know. Thank you.

It sounds like SIP is enabled and is blocking the change. Try disabling SIP following the instructions here:

SIP has been disabled as this was the first thing I checked. I’m lost on this one.

Try upgrading to Winclone 6. If it doesn’t work, I’ll refund your purchase.
