Maybe obvious, maybe not. Can I use SD Clone to create an image of an external SSD drive as opposed to an SD Card? Logically, it’s just another external drive, but in case I’m missing something.
I have a 500GB SSD formatted as NTFS that I use as my D drive under Boot Camp. I’ve tried Carbon Copy Cloner, but it has trouble with the Windows-specific stuff like Program Files. Currently I do backups running under Boot Camp, but I’d prefer to use a Mac app. I use WinClone for the Boot Camp partition but it apparently won’t do external drives.
SD Clone is for Linux EXT filesystems mainly.

Thanks for the reply. Can you suggest an alternative Mac app to backup the external NTFS drive?
None that I am aware of. others may chime in.
