Good evening.
I’m a little bit disappointed. I thought that Boot Runner was easy to configure…I was wrong (although I don’t consider myself as a newbie)!
It’s not as the Youtube video title.
Trusting in this program, I bought a license for 1 PC.
I own an iMac 2017.
macOS Big Sur 11.1 is installed on a thunderbolt/usb-c external drive (Samsung SSD X5), identified as “disk2”.
Windows 10 (Bootcamp) is installed on the internal fusion drive, identified as “disk1”.
iMac automatically boots macOS. Windows 10 is bootable pressing ALT key.
Automatic login in macOS has been disabled.
Already booted into the recovery partition e run the “csrutil enable --without nvram” command.
Problem is the following: when I get into Boot Runner menu and I select Windows, the machine restarts, waits for some seconds and then boots macOS again.
What’s wrong? Can you provide me a profile file?
Best regards.
This was the output of the “csrutil enable --without nvram” command.
csrutil: Requesting an unsupported configuration. This is likely to break in the future and leave your machine in an unknown state.
System Integrity Protection in on.
Restart the machine for the changes to take effect.
Did it get it?
We are investigating issues with selecting external drives with Boot Runner. It works in our testing but we don’t have access to all the different hardware configurations to replicate the issues.

Thanks.
P.S.: Already tried also Boot Runner 3.2 without success (i.e. nothing changed).

Good morning and happy holidays.
Shall I wait for a solution, then?
Best regards.
Nothing yet, but we are setting up a similar setup in QA to test. Holidays have slowed things down a bit.
