EFI disk full while creating a new folder

While restoring I hit the Error creating EFI file. I followed the steps in https://twocanoes.com/knowledge-base/restore-error-error-creating-efi-file/ … but when I try to create a new folder in the EFI folder I get Disk EFI full error. Please help

Any help please… I am unable to restore the bootcamp backup on a new device.

Try emptying the trash. The EFI only has small files on it and the only time I have seen it full is when the files are still in the trash.
