Install Big Sur on a Mac M1

Hello,

I’m trying to install macOS Big Sur on a Mac M1. The workflow starts well, however it hangs on “Copying Installer”. What must we do?

Hello, that looks like a known issue if you’ve pointed to a macOS Big Sur installer in disk image (dmg file) format.
Make sure to use the very latest beta and re-save to your external volume, I’ve had the issue before and not anymore since.

Okay I’ll download the latest version of macOS and the beta of MDS and I’ll test again.
