Installing windows 10 with out mac partition

I have a newer macbook pro Model A1990 that came with Mojave (256gig) drive. I want to know if there is a way to install windows 10 with out the mac partition. So far I have not been able to install windows from a USB. Mojave is very unfriendly in this process. Boot camp assistant wants to control the entire process. I have booted the mac using Control R and turned off the security to boot from usb and all other security settings. I really don’t want use any of the MACside of things. Thanks for any help.

I would recommend keeping a small (30-50GB) partition for macOS for firmware or other updates.
