I, and others I know, can not get any macOS version to download. Click one, click Download, choose location and then get spring gear with the message “Busy, Please Wait …”.
Not sure about others but I’m on macOS 11.2.
Press Command-L to open the log and see progress. It should show any errors if it has any.

I figured out that the “Busy, Please Wait …” is the apps bit of user interface for download progress. We were expecting something more explicit - e.g. a progress bar or some such. I tried again and simply left when the “Ready …” message appeared. Played a couple games of Gin Rummy and went back. Voila! It had completed.
