I have downloaded the MDS Software an I saw the Videos, that is looking very cool. Is it right that MDS right know only works with hfs and not apfs ? Because I could not found anything about APFS !

APFS is fully supported. If you select to erase the volume before installing macOS, it will use the format that it had on it originally. Also, macOS will convert it to a APFS if needed.
