Munki disconnecting with larger pkgs

I recently switched our Munki server to host using MDS 1.8 and 1.8.1. Since, doing that, with larger pkgs like Avid Media Composer (2.7 GB) … in Managed Software center, I get download failed ((-1005 u’ The Networks Connection was lost ')). I have multiple versions of Avid MC and it happens on any package that seems to be a few GB’s in size. When I tried to download the same package from a web browser, it the connection gets lost there as well. If I mount the server via SMB, I can download the package fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Also, MDS will randomly quit.

MDS is running on 10.13.6 on an older Mac Pro 2010.

Also, I have some crash logs. The crash logs point to “fileReadngQueue” with the Avid Media Composer and handbrake pkgs.
