No such file or directory

Hi,

When executing the command Volumes/mds/run from within recovery I’m getting an error that says No such file or directory etc in the Terminal window. The USB I’m using is formatted correctly and is named mds.

I did get it to work once yesterday after formatting the Mac’s HD, but when testing it again I’m unable to get it to run.

I’m probably missing something obvious but just wondered if anyone can help?

type:

ls /Volumes

and make sure that the “mds” volume appears. If your external drive is named something else, you’ll have to modify the command to match.
