Package install fails and keeps trying to install , cant stop it auto popping up

On MDS 2.0.1 (20252) , on a brand new Macbook Pro 2019 with Catalina 10.15.2 , Everything works good except one of mine packages install fails , thats fine but i cant get the log window (loginlog) to stop auto appearing on every login of the user. I was able to stop it before by deleting the imgr .plist file in /Library/LaunchDaemons but cant find it there…

UPDATE - FIXED!!

Found the loginlog app plist file and deleted that and presto , Mac is ready to be shipped to the employee!

Wanted to say thank you for this awesome product and that its free!

How to Fix

In Finder…

  • delete the file /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/LoginLog.app
    *delete the file /Library/LaunchAgents/se.gu.it.LoginLog.plist
    *delete the file /Library/LaunchAgents/se.gu.it.LoginLog.plist

We also now have a wiki and this would be a great addition:

https://bitbucket.org/twocanoes/macdeploystick/wiki/A%20Troubleshooting%20errors%20in%20MDS.md#!troubleshooting-errors-in-mds

Can I trouble you to add it in?

Thats awesome , I certainly will add when get a chance!

Hi Tim,

I cannot seem to post to the Wiki , not sure if its my permissions. I dont have bitbucket account however…

Just realized that one of my solutions stated i copied the file directory twice , where the last file needed to be deleted would be in /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.grahamgilbert.imagr-first-boot-pkg.plist
