I have a bootable APFS volume on an external SSD, which is not the startup disk. It does not automatically show up in the volume selection screen so I update the profile to include it in the Volume section. The volume I need does show up, including the unwanted “- Data” volume, but after selecting the volume, the startup volume is booted instead with external SSD volume not now showing!
Help please.
