When I use SD Clone to Shrink or Expand the last linux partition on my SD card, it takes minutes.
When I use gparted it takes seconds.
Is this normal behavior for SD Clone?

It depends on the size of the card, the speed, and how much data is used. I usually use 8 GB or 16 GB cards, but I imagine a 256 GB card can take a while.

Ok, thanks. I really like the idea of SD Clone. While I will use it to clone an image to my SD cards, instead of using ‘dd’, I will continue to use ‘gparted’ to shrink/expand partitions. As I wrote before, shrinking/expanding petitions with ‘gparted’ is much much faster than the commands used by SD Clone.
