Hi,
I am trying to understand why either Winclone 6 or 7 are so slow at creating and restoring images on Late iMac 2013 (iMac 14,1) compared to on Late iMac 2012 (iMac 13,1). It took 3 days to shrink the partition and just as many days to create an image on the Late iMac 2013 compared to minutes to shrink and a couple of hours to create an image on the Late iMac 2012. Both models of iMac have Fusion drives.
On non-ssd drives, WIM-based imaging can be slow. Switch to block-based imaging in preferences before creating the image, and it should be as fast as winclone 5.

Well, I am creating a disk image on a new SSD and it is VERY slow indeed. And I’m not waiting all day.
