I upgraded to 7.3 and installed it on a Macbook running Bootcamp. I have tried to run Winclone twice but each time it hangs with the blue progress bar at about 0.5 cm. I left it each time for a couple of hours and the progress bar did not move. When I cancelled there was about 40gb of 175gb in the file.
I copied Winclone 6 back from the bin and it works fine.
(you can adjust the argument of “2d” from 2 days to other time periods that you want the log, like “10m” for the last 10 minutes or 3h for the last 3 hours).
We are still investigating and have not been able to reproduce this internally. If you are seeing this issue and have not already submitted you log to support@twocanoes.com, please do so. It will help resolve the issue quicker. Also, please include this info:
Can you give a bit more information? For instance:
Type of Mac for both the source and the destination if they are different. You can find the Mac type under the Apple Menu->About this Mac under.
What version of Winclone you are using.
What version of Windows you are using.
Are you migrating to an external drive? If so, what is the type of drive and how are you connecting it? (USB, Firewire, etc).
Does the Windows volume mount on the Mac desktop?
Does the Windows volume appear in Disk Utility (located in the Utilities folder)?
I repeated the clone last night with Winclone 6 and it completed the procedure without errors. Today I backed up using Acronis without problems and then tried Winclone 7 with the same result. It still hangs at archiving data and the log file is attached.
