Winclone from Sierra to Mojave

My old MAC cannot be upgraded past Sierra and my new mac is Mojave. Do I need to buy two copies of Winclone or can I buy Winclone 8 and temporarily use an earlier version to make the image from Sierra?

I should add that my old MAC is a MAC PRO 2010. The Windows Bootbamp is already on a separate drive but it won’t boot. It sshows up as a bootable drive and I have set the new Mac to allow booting from external but it is not “Blessed”.
