Winclone not creating bootable external disk

Trying to move a working BootCamp image to an external T’bolt 3 SSD. I’ve tried several methods, including backing up and restoring to the external drive. No errors happen, but the external drive will start the boot process and then hang. Any idea?

Hardware: iMac Pro
Software: Latest Winclone, MacOS 10.13.3

I have not tried external booting on the new iMac Pro, but it should work. Can you try setting to EFI and see if that helps? here is how:
