Winclone8 images of both an internal patition and an external NTSF drive

I finally gave up on trying to clone my Bootcamp partition from my 2010 iMac to an external drive on my new 2018 Mac mini and here is what I current have:
–Windows10 is installed on the Bootcamp partition of the Mac mini’s very small internal SSD (256GB is the largest available at this time and not upgradable).
–All my Windows applications were reinstalled on an external SSD (Drive ‘D’). Because I only use a few Windows apps, re-installation was not as bad as I thought it would be . I also put my data and document folders on the external SSD. This seems to be working very well. The mini’s usb3 and usbC ports are fast enough for me.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Is there anything wrong with my approach that I’m not seeing?
  2. Can I clone images of both my Bootcamp partition and my external volume (2 separate images) for backup purposes?

No, that seems right.

Yes, it shouldn’t make a difference to Winclone Standard. It is not limited just one boot camp partition.
